Hi, I'm Mary - a passionate PMU (Permanent Makeup) artist based in Paisley with over 25 years in the beauty industry. Specialising in hyper-realism brows, I create natural-looking, bespoke eyebrows using gentle tattooing techniques. Holding an HND in beauty therapy since 2001, I've traveled globally to refine my craft. My approach is less aggressive than traditional methods like microblading, suitable for all skin types. When not enhancing brows, I enjoy time with my family and two Dachshunds, Rudy and Willow. Let's work together to transform your brows and boost your confidence.

Feather Eye Liner
A semi-permanent tattooing technique using a small handheld tool to create fine strokes along the lash line, mimicking natural eyeliner. Perfect for enhancing eyes, especially for those wanting to define or thicken sparse lashes.
Feather Lip Blush
Mary offers feather lip blushβa semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that enhances your lips' natural color and shape. A fine mist of pigment creates a soft, natural-looking tint, eliminating the need for constant lipstick or gloss reapplication.

How We Work
We conduct a thorough consultation to understand each client's individual needs and preferences, ensuring a customised treatment that delivers natural-looking results.
We always use high-quality, sterile equipment and follows strict health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and comfortable experience. Depending on the treatment, the session can take 1.5 to 3 hours.
A top-up session 4-6 weeks after the initial treatment is recommended to achieve the desired colour and shape, ensuring long-lasting, quality results.
Over time, colour can fade due to factors such as sun exposure or skincare products. A colour booster can help refresh the look of the semi-permanent makeup.
reviews
Semi-permanent makeup, also known as micropigmentation, is a cosmetic technique that employs tattooing to create makeup-like designs on the skin. This process involves inserting natural pigments into the dermal layer of the skin. It's commonly used for eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip colour enhancements. The results can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years, depending on factors like skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare.
The duration of each semi-permanent makeup procedure can vary. Typically, the initial session lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This includes consultation, colour selection, and the application process. Touch-up sessions, which are usually done a few weeks after the initial application, may take less time. We recommend allocating sufficient time for your appointment to ensure the best possible results.
The level of discomfort experienced during semi-permanent makeup procedures varies from person to person. Most clients report minimal discomfort. We apply a topical anaesthetic before the procedure to numb the area, which helps in reducing pain. It's important to communicate with your technician throughout the procedure to ensure your comfort.
Semi-permanent makeup typically lasts between 1 to 3 years. The longevity depends on several factors, including skin type, exposure to sun, and skincare routines. Regular touch-ups are recommended to maintain the colour and shape. Over time, the pigment will fade, necessitating a refresh session.
Before your appointment, avoid caffeine, alcohol, and blood-thinning medications for 24 hours. Ensure your skin is hydrated but avoid using any exfoliants, retinoids, or harsh skincare products in the days leading up to your treatment.
Most people are good candidates for PMU. Itβs especially beneficial for those who want to save time on their daily beauty routine, have sparse or uneven eyebrows, or want more defined lips. A consultation will help determine the best treatment for you.
Yes, most PMU treatments require a touch-up session 6-8 weeks after the initial procedure. This ensures the pigment has healed evenly and any necessary adjustments can be made for optimal results.
Proper aftercare is crucial for the healing process and longevity of semi-permanent makeup. After the procedure, avoid getting the area wet for at least a week. This includes sweating and swimming. Apply the aftercare ointment provided as directed, usually twice a day. Avoid sun exposure and refrain from using skincare products containing exfoliants or strong chemicals on the treated area. Full healing typically takes 4 to 6 weeks.
